Frequently Asked Questions

The questions we get asked most

Are your components original and traceable?
Yes. We supply through franchised and authorised channels. Every lot can be traced back to its source, and we provide a certificate of conformance plus RoHS and REACH documentation on request. We do not knowingly supply relabelled, re-taped or unverified grey-market stock.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
It depends on the part and the manufacturer's packaging unit. For prototyping and engineering samples we can usually supply cut-tape or partial reels. For production volumes we quote at full-reel or box quantities, which is where pricing improves sharply. Tell us your target quantity and we will quote the nearest practical packaging unit.
Can you help if a part is on allocation or obsolete?
This is one of our core services. We search our supply network for available stock, propose pin-compatible or functionally equivalent alternates, and where necessary plan a last-time-buy. Any substitution is reviewed by an engineer against package, tolerance, temperature grade and lifecycle before it is recommended.
Do you sign an NDA before discussing a project?
Yes, and we prefer to. A mutual NDA is signed before any technical exchange. Ownership of custom-developed hardware, firmware and software IP is defined explicitly in the contract and can be assigned to you. Client files are segregated and handled by named staff.
What are typical lead times?
In-stock components typically ship within a few business days of order confirmation. For custom development, a prototype is usually achievable in weeks rather than months, with design validation and mass production following a schedule agreed per project. We will give you an honest schedule rather than an optimistic one.
Do you assist with CE / FCC / RoHS / REACH / UL certification?
We prepare the technical file, test documentation and samples required by the certification process and liaise with accredited laboratories. The certificate is issued to your entity for your market. We are familiar with export procedures and can supply HS codes, certificates of origin and material declarations with the goods.
Can you take a product from idea to mass production?
Yes — that is what our turnkey ODM model is for. We cover hardware, firmware, operating system, cloud platform, edge AI, front-end visualisation, security and certification, then manufacture it. If you only need part of that scope, we work in OEM or white-label mode instead.
What payment terms and shipping methods do you offer?
Terms are agreed per customer and per order, with deposit-plus-balance structures common for custom projects. Components ship by express (DHL / FedEx / UPS) for small volumes and by consolidated air or sea freight for production quantities. We handle export documentation.
Which email address should I use?
Quotations, BOMs and order follow-ups go to tianiot@foxmail.com. Technical enquiries — datasheets, lifecycle and compliance questions, design-in or RMA support — go to zyztiot@foxmail.com. Both reach the same team, so use whichever fits your question.

Prefer to talk it through?

Send a short message and we will arrange a call — engineer-to-engineer if that is more useful than a sales conversation.
